Another cheap option would be fast food. You don' t have to tip. Just order chicken and avoid the red meat. Anything with trans-fat is not good for you. Most fast food restaurants accept debit or credit card. So, basically you save all your spare change into your account rounded off. Versus you holding a chance that you'll forget later.

Shopping for food at the grocery store is always a great option for meals. Look for those following. Buy whatever fruit is cheap and in season. Have knife cut eat.

In these tough times. One must live a cheap and frugal life style. Whatever works. Money is hard to make. You should try to cut expenses where they cost the most.

If buying luxury goods, buy the best. Don't cheap out today and re-buy later.

Cheap recipes

Tuna Sandwich
-1 can of tuna
-2 table spoon of mayonnaise
-1 table spoon of relish
-2 slices of bread
Chicken of the Sea Chunk Light Tuna in Water, 3-Ounce Easy Open Cans (Pack of 24)
Mix the tuna, mayo, and relish together. Put your mixture in between your slices of bread.

Spaghetti

-1 can of spaghetti sauce
-2 table spoon of sugar
-1lb of pasta
-1 spoon of salt
-water

Get a pot, open the pasta. Put salt in the water. Fill the pot with water and boil it. When the water boils. Put the pasta in the pot. 3-5min to cook. Then strain the pasta in strainer or colander. Place pasta in the plate and top it off with sauce. You may add pinch green onion or cilantro for a garnish.

Cereal

-Milk
-Cereal
It's self explanatory. Place cereal in bowl and add milk. Serve.

Rice

I would just buy a cheap rice cooker that keeps the rice warm. I would wash the rice two times and let it strain. Put the rice back in the rice cooker pot. Add water for 1 cup rice for 2 cups of water. Then cook.



Oatmeal is cheap source of healthy food. You may add cereal or salt for it for taste. Just some hot water and you got yourself a quick cheap meal.
