If you wondering why your power line network is slow. It's probably due to something you plug in. Not enough electric current or interference. The interference will be caused by the following
  • high power appliances
  • don't connect it through surge protector
  • usb powered devices (cheap chinese non branded mp3 player)
  • chargers
  • sewing machines
  • televisions

If you want to test what makes your internet slow plug in different devices into your electric outlet and run speedtest.net 

That is what I did and I found out a small little usb micro charger was causing my power line network connect to deteriorate and once I figured/squared that all out. I was back surfing at a higher speed. Even non power things will cause interference.
