 Since I was 15, I've always had Windows laptops. They've all had problems after about a year of use... they start to slow down- they were a magnet for viruses because it didn't matter what antivirus software I used, I still had viruses or SOMETHING that was slowing down my pc's. It was the same thing over and over- each pc laptop lasted on average in good quality about 2-3 years and then I would have to throw it away or give it away. Heck, even the window's pc laptop batteries went to crap after a year or so.... I couldn't even leave home without the charger or I knew I would be screwed royally while using my laptop without one.

 My last PC laptop was so slow and with me getting into college full time again, I said there's NO WAY I'm tolerating a slow computer that has issues. On top of that, I've always had issues with my windows pc's communicating with wireless printers. It's a total nightmare!!! So when I got my macbook air last August, let me tell you- it was the answer to ALL of my prayers and more!! the battery life may last for a few days with continuous use WITHOUT the charger!!!! The macbook air is perfect for me- I took 6 classes last semester and I'm taking 5 this semester... this laptop has handled a lot so far. It never gets warm. OH, it recharges VERY fast and takes forever for the battery to die! [: It has NO problem connecting with my wireless printer. I can use my husband's windows PC to print from our printer and as always, windows computers SUCK when it comes to wireless printing. I love my macbook air.

  It's light and it functions like a monster of all computers. VERY fast and just flat out amazing. I know it's an expensive price, but if I told you that a few months after I bought one Macbook Air, that I bought a second one as a gift for my husband... would that say anything?! We LOVE them! I think and I'm hoping that this laptop lasts me a handful of years while I'm working on my bachelor's degree.
Oh, there's some amazing Apple IOS updates with the macbook air. There's NEVER anything interesting when there's a window's update on a windows computer. Seriously, stop contemplating on whether you need to buy a windows or macbook laptop. Buy the later and save yourself a whole lotta time and stress...

 People will look at you crazily for spending so much, but it's their loss- I would rather have a perfect and flawless laptop versus one that slows down and becomes paperweight after a year or two or so...
It is SO lightweight too!
